BUYER'S GUIDE
Is Voss+Agin Legit? Lab-Grown Diamond Studs, Price, Returns and What to Check (2026)
Yes — Voss+Agin is a real New York lab-grown diamond jeweler with a Diamond District address, selling AGI-certified G/VS studs from $299.99 with a 30-day money-back window. It's a young brand with a thin independent review footprint, so there are three things worth checking at checkout: the metal, the certificate and the return terms on your tier.

Voss+Agin is legit in the ways a jewelry buyer can verify: it's a real lab-grown diamond retailer with a published address at 64 West 48th Street in Manhattan, the heart of New York's Diamond District, a public phone line, a written 30-day refund policy, and a product line of studs, rings, pendants and bracelets sold on its own site and through promotional offer pages. The stones are lab-grown diamonds, which means real diamond, not cubic zirconia or moissanite. It is not a scam.
What it also is, is a young brand. We found no Trustpilot or BBB profile for it, so the usual independent-review shortcut isn't available, and the honest "is Voss+Agin legit" answer comes from the paperwork instead: who sells it, what the certificate says, what metal you're getting, and how the return window works. A disclosure up front: TopCrate earns a commission when readers buy Voss+Agin through our links. That doesn't change the checks below, which we'd tell a friend to run on any online diamond purchase.
Short on time? Our full Voss+Agin review scores the 1.00 carat total weight studs 9.7 out of 10 as the best-value way to give real diamond studs without financing a mined pair.
Who sells Voss+Agin diamonds?
Voss+Agin sells through its own store at vossagin.com and lists its business address as 64 W 48th St, Suite 1006, New York, NY 10036. The company describes itself as a manufacturer and wholesaler of lab-grown diamonds and fine jewelry, and its catalog runs from stud earrings to engagement rings, wedding bands, pendants and bracelets in lab-grown diamond and moissanite.
The offer page TopCrate links to is a promotional page for the studs, and it says the offer is run in partnership with GiddyUp, a product curator. That's a common setup for direct-to-consumer promotions: the page and checkout are run by the promoter, and the product comes from the brand. The offer page says the studs are handcrafted in the USA and ship free within the US.
On age: a commenter on a February 2025 Slickdeals thread about Voss+Agin studs said the company was established in 2020 and didn't have many reviews online yet, and the site's own about page gives no founding date. Treat the brand as a newer jeweler with a real address and a real product, not a decades-old house.
Are Voss+Agin diamonds real?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are carbon crystallized into the same lattice as mined diamonds, and the US Federal Trade Commission's jewelry guides treat them as diamonds. They have the same hardness, brilliance and fire, they pass a standard diamond tester, and telling them apart from mined stones takes specialized lab equipment. That's different from cubic zirconia (a different material that clouds over time) and moissanite (a different, distinguishable gemstone), both of which Voss+Agin also sells, so read the product name carefully.
The studs on the offer page are graded G color, which is near-colorless, and VS clarity, which means inclusions aren't visible to the naked eye. In a stud viewed at conversation distance, that's the sweet spot where spending more stops buying a difference you can see. The stones are round brilliant cut in four-prong settings, which is the classic first-diamond stud.
One caveat on resale: lab-grown diamonds hold far less secondary-market value than mined stones. Buy them to wear, not as an investment. Our Voss+Agin review covers that trade-off in more depth.
What Voss+Agin studs cost
On the promotional offer page we link to, the stud earrings are priced at $299.99 for 1 carat total weight (two half-carat stones), $599.99 for 2 carats total weight, and $899.99 for 3 carats total weight, in yellow or white gold, with free US shipping. The page advertises a large percentage saving against a list price, which is a marketing anchor rather than a benchmark you should rely on.
For comparison, Voss+Agin's own store listed its 1 CTW lab-grown studs at $600 (marked down from $849) when we checked, so the promotional page is meaningfully cheaper than buying the same size on the main site. Our review benchmarks 1.00 CTW G/VS studs at roughly $1,000 to $1,600 mined at mainstream jewelers and $400 to $650 lab-grown at the big online diamond retailers, which puts the $299.99 offer below both.
The three things to check before you buy
Check the metal. The promotional offer page describes the studs as solid 14k gold. Voss+Agin's own catalog also includes some pieces in 14k gold overlay on sterling silver, and a February 2025 Slickdeals listing for Voss+Agin studs described them that way. Both are legitimate products at different price points, but they aren't the same thing, so confirm the metal line on the exact product in your cart before you pay.
Check the certificate. The studs are AGI certified. AGI is a smaller grading lab than the two names most diamond buyers know, GIA and IGI, and grading strictness differs between labs. One Slickdeals commenter said the AGI report with their order had no date or identification number. When yours arrives, look for a report number and confirm it, and if you want independent reassurance, a local jeweler can check the stones in a few minutes.
Check the return terms on your tier. The promotional page advertises a 30-day money-back warranty. Voss+Agin's own refund policy says returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the item, unworn and in original packaging with proof of purchase, that you must contact the company before sending anything back, that you pay return shipping, and that approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. That same policy also says sale items can't be returned, so screenshot the 30-day guarantee on the offer page you buy from and keep it with your order confirmation.
What we couldn't verify
We couldn't find a Trustpilot or BBB profile for Voss+Agin, so there's no large independent review record to cite either way. The promotional page claims more than 20,000 customers and 95 percent positive reviews; those are the seller's own figures, not an audit. The deal-site comments we did find were broadly positive about sparkle and value, with the certificate-detail complaint noted above.
That's not a red flag on its own. Plenty of small jewelers sell mostly through their own site and promotions. It does mean the safest way to buy is the careful one: pay by card, keep every confirmation, inspect the certificate on arrival, and decide inside the 30-day window.
Who Voss+Agin suits
Voss+Agin studs fit the gift-giver at the anniversary, birthday or graduation tier who wants real diamonds without financing them, the buyer upgrading from cubic zirconia studs, and anyone who prefers mine-free stones. Studs also skip the ring-sizing problem entirely, which is why they're a staple of our Christmas gifts for her picks.
They're a weaker fit if the recipient specifically values mined provenance, or if you want a stone you could resell later. In those cases, a mined diamond from a jeweler you can visit in person is the more honest choice, at several times the price.
Our verdict
Voss+Agin is legit: a real New York lab-grown diamond seller with a Diamond District address, certified G/VS stones, a promotional price well under both mined and mainstream lab-grown benchmarks, and a written 30-day return window. It's young and lightly reviewed, so confirm the metal, check the certificate number and screenshot the return terms, and you're buying a genuinely good-value pair of real diamond studs. Our Voss+Agin review has the full breakdown.

How much are Voss+Agin diamond studs?
On the promotional offer page we link to: $299.99 for 1 carat total weight, $599.99 for 2 carats and $899.99 for 3 carats, with free US shipping. Voss+Agin's own store listed 1 CTW studs at $600 when we checked.

Returns within 30 days of receiving the item, unworn and in original packaging with proof of purchase. Contact the company first, you pay return shipping, and approved refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days. The policy excludes sale items, so screenshot the 30-day guarantee on the offer page you buy from.
Are Voss+Agin studs solid gold?
The promotional offer page describes the studs as solid 14k gold in yellow or white. Some Voss+Agin pieces are 14k gold overlay on sterling silver, so confirm the metal on the exact product in your cart.
Who certifies Voss+Agin diamonds?
The studs are AGI certified and graded G color, VS clarity. AGI is a smaller lab than GIA or IGI. When your order arrives, check that the report has an identification number, and a local jeweler can confirm the stones quickly if you want extra reassurance.
