Affiliate Disclosure

Full transparency on how TopCrate makes money.

The short version

TopCrate is reader-supported. When you click a link on our site and buy something, the retailer or brand may pay us an affiliate commission. This never costs you anything extra — prices are identical whether you use our link or not — and it's our only source of revenue.

Amazon Associates

As an Amazon Associate, TopCrate earns from qualifying purchases. Product prices, availability, and ratings shown on Amazon are accurate as displayed there and subject to change.

Other affiliate partnerships

For some products we link directly to the brand's own store through affiliate networks. These partnerships are marked with sponsored link attributes and work the same way: the brand pays a commission after a purchase, and the price you pay is unchanged.

What commissions never buy

Commissions don't influence scores, rankings, or verdicts. Brands cannot pay to be reviewed, to improve a score, or to remove criticism. Our methodology is documented in How We Test, and both positive and negative points appear in every review. If a product isn't worth buying, we say so — recommending things that disappoint you would be a terrible long-term business.
